The historic centre of the city is at Independence Park, where several key sites from the period of independence - the Liberty Bell, National Constitution Centre and Independence Hall - can all be found, The Old City Hall is a stunning piece of architecture, located in an area of the city that is crammed with buildings from the 1700’s and 1800’s.

Philadelphia also has an impressive food scene - no visit to the city is complete without trying a Philly cheese steak of course - and with lively bars and cafes and a growing arts scene, Philadelphia is definitely worth a stopover if you’re travelling through the US’s North East Corridor.
