SUGGESTED ITINERARY
Day 1 - UK to Beijing
Fly from Heathrow to Beijing, arriving the following day. Departures from other UK airports are also available, please ask for details.
Day 2 - Beijing
On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. Our holidays are very flexible so your duration in Beijing and elsewhere can be tailored to suit your exact requirements!
Days 3-4 - Beijing
Spend the next few days exploring this incredible city. Be sure to take in the main sites but allow yourself time to get a little off the beaten track - head to the Hutongs close to Nanluoguxiang station for traditional architecture mixed with bars, restaurants and shops, Beijing-style!
Day 5 - Beijing to Guilin
Transfer back to Beijing airport for your flight to Guilin. When you arrive you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your chosen hotel, for a three night stay. Durations here are flexible so we can adjust things to suit you.
Days 6-7 - Guilin
Spend the next few days exploring Guilin. Famous for its setting on the tranquil Li River, Guilin is a fabulous introduction to Guangxi Provinces beautiful scenery - a trip on the river is mandatory!
Day 8 - Guilin to Shanghai
Transfer back to Guilin airport for your flight to Shanghai. On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. Our stopovers in Shanghai are extremely flexible so if you’d prefer a shorter or longer stay just ask!
Days 9-10 - Shanghai
Spend the next few days exploring the economic powerhouse of Asia. Shanghai is a very modern city but it’s worth heading out of town for a day to the ancient water towns such as Zhu Jia Jiao or Suzhou to see a different side to the region.
Day 11 - Shanghai to UK
Transfer Back to Shanghai airport for your return flight to the UK.
Mix the traditional face of China in Beijing with its modern, forward outlook in Shanghai, along with the beauty of Guangxi Province at Guilin, set on the stunning Li River. An incredible contrast of destinations.
