SUGGESTED ITINERARY
Day 1 - UK to Beijing
Fly from Heathrow to Beijing, arriving the following day. Departures from other UK airports are also available, please ask for details.
Day 2 - Beijing
On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. Our Beijing city stopovers are very flexible, so if you’d like a day or two more or less just let us know!
Days 3-4 - Beijing
Spend the next few days exploring this incredible city. A visit to the Great Wall is a priority, and our suggestion would be a small group tour to the Mutianyu section of the wall - an early start ensures you beat the crowds!
Day 5 - Beijing to Chengdu
Transfer back to Beijing airport for your flight to Chengdu. When you arrive you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your chosen hotel, for a three night stay - we’d recommend three nights in Chengdu to take in all of the main sights, but if you prefer a longer or shorter duration just let us know.
Days 6-7 - Chengdu
Spend the next few days exploring Chengdu. This is one of the best places to get close to Giant Pandas, with the Giant Panda Breeding Research Base being an excellent starting point - there are a number of other Panda bases close to the city too. China’s most famous residents are truly mesmerising.
Day 8 - Chengdu to Shanghai
Transfer back to Chengdu airport for your flight to Shanghai. On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. Our holidays to China are very flexible, so if you’d prefer a different duration just let us know!
Days 9-10 - Shanghai
Spend the next few days exploring the economic powerhouse of Asia. Central Shanghai is fairly easy to explore but there’s plenty to see, so the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus is the perfect way to take it all in.
Day 11 - Shanghai to Hong Kong
Transfer back to Shanghai airport for your flight to Hong Kong. On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. If you’d prefer a longer or shorter stay in Hong Kong just let us know - our holidays are totally flexible.
Days 12-13 - Hong Kong
Spend the next few days exploring this cosmopolitan city. Nathan Road in Kowloon has all the designer labels for the shopaholics amongst you!
Day 14 - Hong Kong to the UK
Transfer back to Hong Kong airport for your return flight to the UK.
A superb mix of contrasts and experiences with this four centre holiday, taking in the two key Chinese cities of Beijing and Shanghai along with a chance to see Giant Pandas in Chengdu, finishing in vibrant Hong Kong.
