Western Australia is by far the largest of the states, and there’s a lot more to it than just its friendly capital, Perth - being closer to Asia than Sydney Perth has influences from far & wide, and is a great place to start an Aussie adventure as it’s the closest major city to the UK (a mere 20 hours flying time!) Close by, the winelands of the Margaret River and the fabulous beaches of the South West are easily accessible from the city.
Beyond Perth the vastness of Western Australia cries ‘adventure’ to us - head north along the coast towards the Pinnacles, Kalbarri and fabulous Monkey Mia, where wild dolphins come to shore. Beyond here, Broome and the Kimberley are further off the beaten track and more remote again.
