ITINERARY

Day 1 - Mombasa to Tsavo West

After breakfast leave your beach hotel in Mombasa and drive to Tsavo National Park (310-360 km depending on which beach hotel you're staying in). On arrival check in to your lodge for lunch, which is followed by an afternoon game drive which usually includes a visit to Mzima Springs, famed for its hippos and crocodiles. Kilaguni Serena Lodge is a classic stone built lodge, and was one of the first lodges to be built in Tsavo National Park. It overlooks its own waterhole, which is visited by a variety of wildlife. Overnight: Kilaguni Serena Lodge (lunch and dinner included).

Day 2 - Amboseli

After an early breakfast drive the 220 km to Amboseli, and check in to your lodge. Amboseli is a fairly small park but is home to lion, buffalo, giraffe, zebra and more, with the landscape providing limited cover so you have a good chance of seeing some of the larger predators in their natural setting. Lunch is followed by an afternoon game drive. Overnight: Amboseli Serena Lodge (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).

Day 3 - Tsavo East

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, drive to Tsavo East National Park. Check in to Ashnil Aruba Lodge in time for lunch. Ashnil Aruba Lodge has several watering holes nearby which attract wildlife, and has been thoughtfully designed with the main guest area shaded by acacia trees. After lunch a game drive will introduce you to the local area. Overnight: Ashnil Aruba Lodge (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).

Day 4 - Tsavo East to Mombasa

After an early morning game drive and breakfast, drive 170-200 km back to your beach hotel in Mombasa (breakfast included).
