The central dining area, offering international cuisine, buffets and barbeques, is reached by a timbered bridge over a melt-water stream, while the lounge and bar feature a broad terrace and a blazing fire-pit where evening cocktails can be enjoyed. At the heart of the lodge, shaded by palm trees, is a free-form swimming pool; to either side of which stretch the rooms. Leisure facilities include game drives, sundowners, traditional feasts and tribal dancing. There is a gift shop where souvenirs can be purchased. Board Games and a library of Africana books are also available. Guided nature walks or bird-watching walks can be arranged, as can visits to local Masai villages with the chance to buy Masai handicrafts.
