Namibian Air Safari
9 night Flying Safari holiday

A fly-in safari is the most fascinating and time efficient way to experience Namibia. Visit the world's highest sand dunes at the remarkable Namib Desert, see wild dolphins in Walvis Bay, explore the World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein and spot Africa's most famous mammals in the thrilling Etosha National Park, all in ultimate comfort on this luxury safari experience.

On arrival, transfer to the Olive Grove Guesthouse for the afternoon and overnight.

Board a light aircraft for your flight to the Kulala Wilderness reserve where you will stay at the Kulala Desert Lodge for two nights. The Kulula Desert Lodge offers a luxurious setting with 15 private thatched and canvas tents with a roof top deck where bedrolls are provided should you wish to sleep out beneath a blanket of stars. During your two days at Kulala, enjoy guided game drives and walks into the reserve, game drives to the famed Sossusvlei dunes, the highest sand dunes on earth, or an excursion to the Sesriem Canyon. For an extra cost you can gain a whole new perspective from horseback (breakfast and dinner included).

Enjoy breakfast before boarding your light aircraft for your transfer to Namibia's premier coastal resort, Swakopmund and the Hansa Hotel. On arrival you will be met and transferred to the hotel before enjoying the rest of the day at leisure exploring Swakopmund (breakfast included).

Today you will enjoy an early breakfast before you transfer to Walvis Bay for a catamaran dolphin cruise which will take you on a journey along the coast and introduce you to some of Namibia's marine life. You'll cruise the harbour, and trawler areas before cutting across the lagoon to Pelican Point, famed for its large seal colony. Enjoy fresh oysters and chilled Champagne aboard before returning to the hotel for the rest of the day at leisure (breakfast included).

After breakfast transfer by light aircraft to Damaraland and the Doro Nawas Conservancy where you will stay for two nights at the Doro Nawas Camp. During the journey some of Africa’s finest scenery will pass beneath the aircraft such as the misty Skeleton Coast and the shifting desert sands. Doro Nawas Camp offers panoramic views from the main building with rooftop access for stargazing and sundowners. The 16 units sit harmoniously within their environment and offer an en suite with outdoor shower and a veranda for stargazing and sleep outs. Explore this beautiful region on scenic guided walks and game drives, and a visit to the petrified forest and petroglyphs near the World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein is a must (breakfast and dinner included).

By light aircraft, transfer to Andersson’s Camp near the Etosha National Park and enjoy views over the savannah and the catchments of the Huab and Aba-Huab river systems during the flight. Andersson’s camp is an eco-sensitive resort made up of 16 tents with the Ondundozonanadana Mountains as magnificent backdrop. The camp is set within Ongava Game Reserve, south of Etosha National Park and is home to a prolific array of flora and fauna. In Ongava you can find both black and white rhino as well as over 340 species of bird. Embark on a guided tour into the Etosha National Park to admire the rich diversity of wildlife with a chance to encounter four of the Big Five species as well as rare and endangered animals such as cheetah, Sable and the Damara Dik-Dik. There is also the option to experience a night game drive through Ongava National Park (breakfast and dinner included).

This morning transfer back to Windhoek by light aircraft possibly passing over the Waterberg Plateau and the hills of Omatakos en route before you transfer to the airport for your onward journey (breakfast included).
