Adelaide is a relaxed and elegant city with a less frenetic feel than her East Coast cousins, and one that enjoys the finer things in life, from fabulous food and world-class wine to exciting festivals and a plethora of museums & galleries. Allow a few days to get to know this charming city before exploring beyond the city limits and in to the rest of South Australia.

The city centre of Adelaide is fairly compact and easy to get to know - any trip to the city should take in the Central Market to taste some of that fabulous local produce, and the excellent Art Gallery of South Australia, while nature-lovers will enjoy the Botanic Gardens and Adelaide Zoo. Head out of the city centre for some beach-time in nearby Glenelg, or head to the Adelaide Hills for a cooler climate and some of the best wine in the Country.
