ITINERARY

Day 1 - Depart

Fly from Heathrow to Livingstone (via Nairobi), arriving next day.

Day 2 - Victoria Falls

On arrival you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel for a two night stay. This afternoon start exploring the area, or take in the sheer beauty of the Falls from the grounds of your resort. Overnight: AVANI Victoria Falls Resort (breakfast included).

Day 3 - Victoria Falls

Today is yours to explore the spectacular Victoria Falls. Walk along the footpath opposite the Falls and get wet from the spray, or take an optional helicopter trip. Perhaps. Overnight: AVANI Victoria Falls Resort (breakfast included).

Day 4 - Nairobi

Transfer back to Livingstone airport for your flight to Nairobi. You’ll be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay. Overnight: EKA Hotel Nairobi (breakfast included).

Day 5 - Masai Mara

On arrival in Nairobi, transfer to the Safari Lounge to freshen up and to store any excess beach luggage, as your luggage allowance for your light aircraft flights is 15 kg. Transfer to Wilson airport and fly by light aircraft to the Masai Mara (approximately 1 hour) and transfer to your camp. After lunch, enjoy a late afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Mara Camp (lunch and dinner included).

Days 6-7 - Masai Mara

Enjoy two further days with morning and afternoon game drives in this outstanding national park. You can cool down in the camp's pool in the afternoons, sunbathe, read or just relax.

The Ashnil Mara Camp is a terrific place to spend three nights in the Mara. The location is second to none, the luxury tents are well equipped and the welcome is warm and friendly. After a delicious dinner relax in the lounge area and relive the exciting animal viewing of the day. Overnight: Ashnil Mara Camp (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).

Day 8 - Zanzibar

Fly to Nairobi in the morning (approximately 1 hour). Transfer to Nairobi airport for your flight to Zanzibar. You’ll be met on arrival and transferred to your chosen beach hotel - prices here include a week on the beach but pretty much any duration is possible. Spend the next week relaxing on the beach.

Day 15 - Return

Return transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.

Notes

Game drives are conducted in the camp’s own vehicles, and a window seat cannot be guaranteed.

Travel times vary on road conditions and game sightings.

Pack a mixture of warm and light clothing in soft bags, plus sunglasses, camera and insect repellent.

Light aircraft baggage allowance is 15 kg - soft sided bags must be used.
