Sydney, Ayers Rock and Port Douglas Multicentre Holiday

A stylish introduction to Australia, taking the classic ‘Sydney, Rock & Reef’ itinerary and including upmarket Port Douglas on the Queensland Coast, one of the closest points to the Great Barrier Reef and a great alternative to Cairns.

SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Day 1 - UK to Sydney

Fly from London to Sydney, arriving the next day.

Days 2-5 - Sydney

On arrival make your way from the airport to your chosen hotel, for a four night stay - we have a range of hotels to choose from, and your length of stay in Sydney is flexible. Spend a few days discovering Sydney - crazy people may want to start their Australia adventure by climbing Sydney Harbour Bridge, the largest and heaviest steel arch in the world. A serious head for heights is needed!

Day 6 - Sydney to Ayers Rock

Make your way back to Sydney airport for your flight to Ayers Rock. On arrival, make your way to your chosen hotel for a two night stay - as with all of our destinations we have a range of hotel options available.

Day 7 - Ayers Rock

Spend the day exploring stunning Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, home to Uluru (Ayers Rock). Take an Aboriginal tour which include activities such as bush skills and spear throwing, and perhaps enjoy the ‘Sound of Silence’ dinner with with great views of the Rock and the sky at night.

Day 8 - Ayers Rock to Port Douglas

Make your way back to Sydney airport for your flight to Cairns. On arrival, make your way to Port Douglas (approx 1 hour) and your chosen hotel for a five night stay - your duration here is completely flexible so if you’d like a longer or shorter stay just ask!

Days 9-12 - Port Douglas

Spend the next few days exploring Port Douglas, one of the closest resort towns to the Great Barrier Reef - no trip to Queensland would be complete without visiting the Reef, and we love the Quicksilver platform at Agincourt Reef that allows you to swim, snorkel or dive or go underwater with a helmet, take a submarine or just walk in to a viewing platform!

Day 13 - Return

Make your way to Cairns airport for your return flight to the UK, arriving the next day.
