Holidays to the Great Ocean Road
A stretch of the Victorian coastline that’s world famous for its sheer beauty, the Great Ocean Road is one of Australia’s best road-touring routes - a definite in any driving itinerary to Australia. You can get a sense of the Great Ocean Road in a day trip from Melbourne, but to do it justice allow a few days and spend a night or two in the pretty villages that dot the coastline. Take a detour to the Bellarine Peninsula and escape the crowds inland at the Otway hinterland - there’s more to the Great Ocean Road than just the B100!
Even if you don’t have your own wheels you can still experience the incredible landscapes of the region, with day trips from Melbourne or longer tours linking Melbourne and Adelaide.
