Location of the Ranweli Holiday Village

Ranweli is blessed with a beautiful location on a 20-acre peninsula beside the sea, surrounded by mangrove forests, winding rivers and gardens. It is 30 minutes from Colombo’s International Airport.

Rooms at the Ranweli Holiday Village

All bungalows and rooms have been crafted and decorated in typical Sri Lankan style and are constructed from locally sourced materials in keeping with Ranweli’s eco-friendly aim. All rooms are air-conditioned and have a ceiling fan, and telephone whilst bathrooms are equipped with solar panels to heat water. Standard Seaview Bungalows are as above, Deluxe Seaview Bungalows have an outdoor terrace, rain shower, mini-fridge and tea and coffee facilities.

Facilities at the Ranweli Holiday Village

There is a main restaurant and bar as well as a swimming pool and internet café. The beautiful gardens are a great place for a leisurely stroll and you can also enjoy a number of activities such as volleyball and squash. There are opportunities to go fishing, take nature walks or enjoy a spot of bird or butterfly watching. For those looking for ultimate tranquillity, there is also an Ayurvedic centre and yoga and meditation classes.
