Yogyakarta, on the Indonesian island of Java, is one of the most fascinating cities in Asia - it’s home to two incredible temple complexes, a Royal palace and intriguing culture. Combine it with KL and Bali on this incredible trip.

SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Day 1 - UK to Kuala Lumpur
Fly from Heathrow to Kuala Lumpur, arriving the following day. Departures from other UK airports are also available, please ask for details.

Day 2 - Kuala Lumpur
On arrival in to Kuala Lumpur you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. Our holidays are very flexible so your durations can be tailored to suit your exact requirements!

Days 3-4 - Kuala Lumpur
You now have the next couple of days to get to know Kuala Lumpur. We’d definitely factor in a visit to Petaling Street Market in to your itinerary one evening - the area buzzes with food stalls and souvenirs, but it’s the less-than-authentic designer goods that most people come here for.

Day 5 - Kuala Lumpur to Yogyakarta

Transfer back to Kuala Lumpur airport for your onward flight to Yogyakarta. You’ll be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel for a three night stay. Yogyakarta is one of the most fascinating cities in Indonesia and your time here will be packed with interest.

Days 6-7 - Yogyakarta
There’s loads to see and do in and around Yogyakarta, and top of your list should be the incredible Borobudur, the world’s largest Buddhist monument and a breathtaking array of stupas and carvings wrapped across a hill, around an hour outside of the city centre. Sunrise is a particularly magical time of day here.

Day 8 - Yogyakarta to Bali

Transfer back to Yogyakarta airport for your onward flight to Bali. On arrival you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your chosen hotel, for a seven night stay. We think it’s very important that we have first-hand experience of the destinations we feature, so we visit them as much as we can to give you the best advice!

Days 9-14 - Bali

Spend the rest of your time on Bali relaxing, and getting to know this wonderful destination. We’d really recommend venturing away from the beach and heading inland - the cultural town of Ubud makes a great day trip (or stay a few days if you prefer) with its incredible arts scene and intricate temples.

Day 15 - Bali to UK

Return transfer to Bali airport for your return flight to the UK.
