SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Day 1 - UK to Hanoi

Fly from Heathrow to Hanoi, arriving the following day. Departures from other UK airports are also available, please ask for details.

Day 2 - Hanoi

On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. Our stopovers in Hanoi are extremely flexible, so if you’d prefer a shorter or longer stay just ask!

Days 3-4 - Hanoi

Spend the next few days exploring fascinating Hanoi. We’d suggest visiting historic sights such as the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature, both easy to get to and well worth doing so.

Day 5 - Hanoi to Halong Bay

Today you’ll be collected from your hotel in Hanoi for the drive of around three hours to Halong Bay. You’ll board your boat around lunchtime and set sail soon after to explore the beauty of Halong Bay. Cruise itineraries differ a little between boats, but a typical first day will include activities both on the water such as kayaking, swimming or squid fishing, and on dry land such as exploring islands and caves.

Day 6 - Halong Bay to Danang

If you’re up in good time you may be able to catch a spectacular sun rise over Halong Bay ,before breakfast, As you head back to the marina, typical second day activities may include onboard activities such as tai chi, or exploring more of the beautiful islands, beaches and caves. Later, disembark from your cruise boat around 11 am, and your transfer will take you to Hanoi airport for your onward flight to Danang You’ll be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel for a seven night stay. We have a great selection of places to stay in Danang, so just let us know what kind of property suits you and we’d be delighted to assist!

Days 7-12 - Danang

Spend the next week relaxing at your hotel in Danang, enjoying the glorious beach and exploring the local area. Vietnam’s fourth largest city offers plenty of interest, but it’s the beaches that are the main draw.

Day 13 - Danang to Saigon

You’ll be collected at your hotel for your return transfer to the airport, for your onward flight to Saigon. On arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your next hotel for a three night stay. Our holidays are very flexible - we’d suggest a three night stay in Saigon, but any duration is possible.

Days 14-15 - Saigon

Spend the next few days exploring fascinating Saigon - our top tip would be to take in the view from the rooftop bar at the Caravelle Hotel, located close to the famous Opera House.

Day 16 - Saigon to UK

Return transfer to Saigon airport for your return flight to the UK.
