SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Day 1 - UK to Hanoi

Fly from Heathrow to Hanoi, arriving the following day. Departures from other UK airports are also available, please ask for details.

Day 2 - Hanoi

On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. We’ve included some suggested hotel options in Hanoi, but if you’d like alternative hotels just let us know!

Days 3-4 - Hanoi

Spend the next few days exploring fascinating Hanoi. We love the area around Hoan Kiem Lake with its pretty wooden bridge - some of the city’s best food is found in this area too!

Day 5 - Hanoi to Halong Bay

Today you’ll be collected from your hotel in Hanoi for the drive of around three hours to Halong Bay. You’ll board your boat around lunchtime and set sail soon after to explore the beauty of Halong Bay. Cruise itineraries differ a little between boats, but a typical first day will include activities both on the water such as kayaking, swimming or squid fishing, and on dry land such as exploring islands and caves.

Day 6 - Halong Bay to Nha Trang

If you’re up in good time you may be able to catch a spectacular sun rise over Halong Bay ,before breakfast, As you head back to the marina, typical second day activities may include onboard activities such as tai chi, or exploring more of the beautiful islands, beaches and caves. Later, disembark from your cruise boat around 11 am, and your transfer will take you to Hanoi airport for your onward flight to Nha Trang. You’ll be met on arrival at the airport and transferred to your hotel for a seven night stay. There’s a good selection of places to stay in Nha Trang, so just let us know if you can’t see what you’re looking for.

Days 7-12 - Nha Trang

Spend the rest of your stay in Nha Trang relaxing on the beach, exploring the area and soaking up the atmosphere. Take a boat out to the bays and islands of Nha Trang Bay, or take in some of the resorts bars and restaurants.

Day 13 - Nha Trang to Saigon

You’ll be collected at your hotel for your return transfer to the airport, for your onward flight to Saigon. On arrival, you’ll be met at the airport and transferred to your next hotel for a three night stay. We have a wide selection of hotel options to choose from in Saigon, so just let us know if you’re looking for something in particular.

Days 14-15 - Saigon

Spend the next few days exploring fascinating Saigon. Perhaps take a half day trip out of the city to see the extraordinary Cu Chi Tunnels, a real eye-opener in to the extraordinary spirit of the Vietnamese people.

Day 16 - Saigon to UK

Return transfer to Saigon airport for your return flight to the UK.
