SUGGESTED ITINERARY

Day 1 - UK to Beijing

Fly from Heathrow to Beijing, arriving the following day. Departures from other UK airports are also available, please ask for details.

Day 2 - Beijing

On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. Our stopovers in Beijing are extremely flexible so if you’d prefer a shorter or longer stay just ask!

Days 3-4 - Beijing

Spend the next few days exploring this incredible city. Getting around Beijing can be rather slow going and confusing, although the underground network is cheap and efficient. Our top way to explore is to hire a guide for the day to take you to the main sites, travelling by underground, bus and on foot - explore like a local, with a local!

Day 5 - Beijing to Xi’an

Transfer back to Beijing airport for your flight to Xi’an. When you arrive you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your chosen hotel, for a three night stay - other durations are also available, of course.

Days 6-7 - Xi’an

Spend the next few days exploring historic Xi’an. The city is dotted with things to see - head to the Bell Tower and nearby Drum Tower to get your bearings, and start exploring from there.

Day 8 - Xi’an to Shanghai

Transfer back to Xi’an airport for your flight to Shanghai. On arrival, you'll be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel, for a three night stay. Our stopovers in Shanghai are extremely flexible so if you’d prefer a shorter or longer stay just ask!

Days 9-10 - Shanghai

Spend the next few days exploring the economic powerhouse of Asia. A cruise on the mighty Huangpu River is a great way to see the skyline, and at night, when the lights of both Pudong and Puxi come on, it’s even more spectacular!

Day 11 - Shanghai to Penang

Transfer back to Shanghai airport for your flight to Penang. On arrival you’ll be met and transferred to your chosen hotel, for a seven night stay. A wide range of hotels is available and durations are flexible, so you can stay for as long as you wish.

Days 12-17 - Penang

Spend the rest of your stay in Penang relaxing on the beach, exploring the island and trying out the watersports, the paragliding is fantastic!

Day 18 - Penang to UK

Return transfer to Penang airport for your return flight to the UK.
