As Trang is reached by flight from Bangkok it’s easy to spend a few nights in the Thai capital before heading to the beach. It’s also straightforward to include Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand, but with limited flights from other areas, options are a little limited.

Getting to Trang

Trang airport is served by flights from Bangkok, although there are limited options from elsewhere. The beaches of Trang are around an hour from Trang airport. This area can also be reached from Krabi airport, which has more flight connections, but longer transfers.
