Loisaba Star Beds, Laikipia
Exclusive to Loisaba, each Star Bed is a raised, hand-crafted wooden platform sculpted into a kopje of rocks and semi-covered with a thatched roof. Natural 'Mukokoteni beds' can either be wheeled out onto the uncovered area for a night under the stars, or left under the shelter of the roof.

Situated on the border of Laikipia and Kenya's rugged Northern Frontier District, only a few miles from the equator.
Accommodation at the Loisaba Star Beds, Laikipia
2 sets of star beds with a private toilet with a camp-style drum shower (2 adults). Kiboko star beds are just 20 minutes from Loisaba Lodge and are located among a kopje of rocks in one of the eastern valleys overlooking the 'Kiboko' waterhole (2 adults and 1 child). Koija star beds are located 30 minutes from Loisaba Lodge on the banks of the Ewaso Niro River (2 adults and 1 child). These are situated over the flowing river and are reached by footbridge from the opposite bank.

Offers a dining room, bush meals, sundowners and a bar. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool with poolside bar, tennis court, croquet, spa & massage room*, day & night game drives, guided bush walks, horse & camel riding, mountain biking, cultural visits, river rafting & river fishing (seasonal), quad biking*, helicopter excursions* and hot-air balloon trips*.
