Shamwari, one of the largest Eastern Cape private reserves, is situated in some of the most beautiful undulating landscapes. This is a superb stop at the start or finish of your Garden Route experience. This 25,000-hectare game reserve is malaria-free and home to the famous ‘Big 5’.

Shamwari is also one of the largest private conservation initiatives in Southern Africa with its own wildlife department focused on the sustainability of the environment and working closely with the Born Free Foundation towards rehabilitation of rescued big cats and education of all visitors to the reserve.

5* Long Lee Manor

In addition to the rolling landscapes, the extravagant Long Lee Manor boasts the original Manor House and offers several unique features that will keep you comfortable during your stay.
