There’s so much to see in Malaysia away from the main destinations, and it’s easy to explore with a short tour, a side trip or a self-drive itinerary. Take in the beautiful scenery of the Cameron Highlands or Taman Negara National Park, historic cities such as Malacca or Kuala Kangsar, or peaceful beach resorts along both coasts of Peninsula Malaysia. Get yourself a little off the beaten track and Malaysia is yours to explore.
Multicentre Holidays
If you’re feeling independent but not up for driving then many locations can be reached by transfer, giving you time to explore under your own steam. We’ll drive you from say Kuala Lumpur to Malacca, leave you there for a few days to get to know this fascinating city, and then drive you back to KL or to the airport for a flight elsewhere. Fully flexible and great value, but easy going too!
Self-Drive Malaysia
Driving is a great way to get off the beaten track, especially in Peninsula Malaysia - there’s a good network of well maintained roads, and while traffic can be busy in the main cities there’s so much to see and do that it will put a very different perspective to a Malaysia holiday.
Short Tours
We offer a range of short tours that can be added in to our Malaysia holidays, which will allow you to get off the beaten track a little and with someone else looking after you and telling you what’s what - but without being part of a coach party for a fortnight. Most of our short tours operate on a private basis, and it’s a great way to see places like the Cameron Highlands and Taman Negara, or to get close to the orang utans of Borneo.
