What to do in Hua Hin & Cha Am

On your Hua Hin holiday, spend lazy days on the beach or around your hotel pool, while evenings are great fun at Hua Hin night market or in one of the numerous bars and restaurants available. The seafood restaurants on the front at Hua Hin are particularly good. For a day away from the beach, visit the floating market at Damnoen Saduak, or the Bridge on the River Kwai at Kanchanburi.

Where to stay in Hua Hin & Cha Am

There's a great range of hotels in Hua Hin and Cha Am, from value hotels for the budget conscious to luxury hotels in Hua Hin of world class standards. Have a look on the following pages at our favourite hotels, but do bear in mind that we can use other hotels in Hua Hin and Cha Am too!

Holiday ideas to Hua Hin & Cha Am

Why not combine Bangkok and Hua Hin or Cha Am on a twin centre package holiday to Thailand, or create a multi centre Thailand holiday by including a few nights in colourful Chiang Mai too, for a Bangkok Chiang Mai and Hua Hin holiday. It's also possible to visit other parts of the Far East, such as multi centre holidays combining Hua Hin with Singapore or Hong Kong. Our holidays are very flexible!

The Thai beach resorts of Cha Am and Hua Hin are around 15 miles apart on the Gulf of Thailand, around a 2 to 3 hour drive from Bangkok. Less well known than elsewhere, Cha Am and Hua Hin are less developed and are favoured by the Thai Royal Family. The resorts make a great destination for those looking for a more traditional Thai beach holiday. Cha Am is the quieter of the two, popular on weekends but quieter in the week, with a long beachfront and a laid back atmosphere. Hua Hin offers a wider selection of bars and restaurants, but is still low-key in comparison to other areas. Both are charming and welcoming. Seafood is a local speciality and well worth a try!
