Day 1 – Arrive Delhi

Today you will land in Delhi Airport where you will be transferred to your hotel. Check-in and settle into your hotel room where you can spend the day at leisure.

Day 2 - Delhi

Start your morning exploring all that Delhi has to offer, with a Delhi Shahjahanabad bicycle tour, before returning back to your hotel for breakfast. Then, relax until the afternoon, when you'll embark on a half day tour of this wonderful city. The Shahjehan Tour is Delhi by Cycle’s classic recipe for an exhilarating glimpse into the life and times of the great Mughal Emperor, Shahjehan and the 1500-acre expanse of his capital – Shahjehanabad. At the time of its construction in the 17th Century, it was arguably, the most prosperous and beautiful city in the world. On this Old Delhi bike tour, you will see riveting glimpses of this colourful past. New Delhi reflects the legacy the British left behind. The first stop will be a UNESCO World Heritage site - Qutub Minar, the second tallest minar in India. It is made of red stone and marble covered with intricate carvings and verses from the Qur'an. Later visit the 16th century Humayun’s Tomb, the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent, an outstanding monument in the Indo-Persian style and a precursor of the Taj Mahal. The tour to Imperial Delhi will also include a drive past of India Gate, the 42 m high War Memorial Arch, the Parliament House, the Secretariat buildings and the Vice Regal Palace, now the official residence of the President of India.

Day 3 – Delhi to Agra

Today you will have an early start, transferring to Nizamuddin station to travel around 1.5 hours from Delhi to Agra on the Gatiman Express. On arrival at Agra Station, you'll make your way straight to Agra fort, before transferring to your hotel to get ready for an Agra by night walk this evening. From monument- viewing to cultural shows, from moonlit nights at the Taj to restaurant trawling, from sunsets at the Yamuna to bowling the evening away, from live concerts to bar hopping – Agra at night is a lively place to be to check out how the locals live up the night.

Day 4 – Taj Mahal

Head out early in the morning to watch the sunrise views of the Taj Mahal, before making your way back to your hotel for breakfast. Then, this afternoon, make your way along the Artisan's Trail and interact with the locals. Agra has long been associated with its artisan heritage. If anything reminds you of the immense wealth of its crafting traditions you just have to look at how the Mughals advantaged on it…whether it was emperor Babur and the stone craft of Agra Fort, the exquisite work in marble and Pacchikari: stone inlay on the Taj Mahal, or the splendid work on the Tomb of  I'timad-ud-Daulah, or the Baby Taj as it’s called for its impressive architecture, stone inlay and fantastic marble lattice screens and fine carvings, at nearby Sikandra.

Day 5 – Agra to Jaipur

Leave Agra and head over to the Pink City, around a 5-hour journey away. On arrival, the rest of the day is at your leisure before you embark on a culinary adventure at Ikaki Niwas with a cooking lesson. Ikaki Niwas is a beautiful house which is tastefully decorated in the Rajasthani style with motifs and wall frescos. The cooking demo at Ikaki Niwas is a perfect way to learn the art of Indian and local Rajasthani Cuisine.  Each dish is being explained in detail and clients are encouraged to actively participate in the cooking process. The Demonstration is followed by meal with the Family.

Day 6 – Jaipur

After breakfast, you'll explore Jaipur on a rickshaw ride, where you'll marvel at the Albert Hall Museum, City Palace Complex, Jal Mahal and many more attractions. A unique and creative project of ACCESS Development Services, a non-profit organization, the Pink City Rickshaw Co. seeks to give 200 women from low-income households in Jaipur new, ambitious work opportunities. The first stop shall be the Albert Hall Museum, beautifully designed in the Indo-Saracenic architecture and housed in the centre of Ram Niwas Garden. From here, your next stop shall be the City Palace Complex - The Palace, a beautiful fusion of Mughal and Rajput architecture is the present residence to the last ruling royal family which lives in a private section of the palace.  Spend some time at the various mahals, the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum which displays a unique collection of royal costumes and admire the beautiful painted ceilings and the collection of the well-preserved Rajput weaponry. Your lady rickshaw chauffer will take you to the Jantar Mantar, considered to be the largest of the five astronomical observatories built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, the founder of Jaipur. Then our pink rickshaw will take you to the gorgeous Jal Mahal or the Lake Palace, which appears to float in the centre of Man Sagar Lake. Then visit to the iconic Hawa Mahal also called the Palace of Winds (with photo stop).

Day 7 - Return

After breakfast at the hotel make your way to Delhi Airport for your onward travel (6hr drive approximately).

Journey through India’s legendary Golden Triangle, where centuries of history, culture, and living traditions come vividly to life. Begin in Delhi, exploring the contrasting worlds of Old and New Delhi by bicycle and guided tour, uncovering Mughal and British-era landmarks. Travel by express train to Agra, where the timeless beauty of the Taj Mahal reveals itself at sunrise, complemented by immersive evening walks and encounters with local artisans. Continue to the Pink City of Jaipur, discovering royal palaces, bustling streets, and historic observatories by rickshaw.
