Location:
Ras Um Sid, about 10 minutes drive from Naama Bay, on the edge of
a secluded cove.
Rooms: 321 air-conditioned rooms including 35 suites
and 38 Ritz-Carlton club rooms. All rooms are spacious and well
furnished and feature a well sized marble bathroom with bath essentials,
a balcony or garden patio, satellite TV, telephone, stocked refreshment
cabinet and safe. Sea side rooms are sea facing; however, some offer
only a partial sea view. Ritz-Carlton club room guests benefit from
the additional facilities of the Ritz-Carlton club level, including
a separate lounge (minimum age for entry is 12), the personal services
of a concierge and 5 complimentary food and beverage presentations
throughout the day and evening.
Cuisine: The Café main buffet restaurant for all
day dining, with indoor and patio seating, serves an impressive
range of international cuisines. Other dining options include La
Luna Italian gourmet restaurant, Fayrouz restaurant offering exotic
Middle Eastern dishes with traditional entertainment and the Blue
Ginger Asian restaurant. For light fare and cocktails, the Waves
bar is housed in a huge wooden tent beside the Red Sea, while the
Pyramid poolside bar features both counter seating plus a swim up
bar and specialises in frozen drinks.
Entertainment: The Lobby Patio is the venue for
nightly entertainment by international performers.
Sport & Leisure: 2 spectacular freshwater swimming
pools and recreation areas. The spa and fitness centre offers a
Jacuzzi, massage, steam rooms and sauna, while a beauty salon and
Thai massage are also available (pay locally). For sports enthusiasts,
2 floodlit tennis courts and beach volleyball are also available.
