itinerary starts in Aberdares National Park, an area of exceptional
natural beauty. Your stay here is at Treetops, one of the most famous game viewing lodges in the world.
Then head on to the Aberdares and the slopes of Mount Kenya, where you'll stay in a lodge overlooking a watering hole - the wildlife literally comes to you! The safari ends in
the world famous Masai Mara, home to the big five. The Thorn
Tree Safari offers great value and can be combined easily with
a few days on the beach.

Transfer to the Safari Lounge, where you can freshen up before departing for lunch at the Outspan Hotel (180 km). Transfer to Treetops, where game can be viewed from the many balconies overlooking the waterhole. (Please limit your luggage to an overnight bag, the remainder can be stored at Outspan. Enjoy an early morning balloon flight over the Mara, followed
by a bubbly bush breakfast (optional extra), or an early morning
game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. A second game

Beach or return
Return to Nairobi (300 km), then proceed with your chosen beach
extension or return to Heathrow. (Breakfast included)

Flights are in light aircraft and the baggage allowance is strictly
15 kg per person. Where possible, additional luggage can be
left at your hotel or at the Safari Lounge in Nairobi and retrieved
after the safari. When flying from the Masai Mara to Mombasa
entire luggage must be restricted to 15 kg as no luggage can
be stored in Nairobi.
Children aged 7 and below are not permitted on this safari.

rustic treehouse is legendary for its historical royal connection,
for the animals it attracts and for the sheer joy of exploring
a tree house visited by rhinos, elephants, buffalos, bushbucks,
waterbucks and many others.
Placed in the path of an ancient
elephant migratory route between the Aberdare ridges &
Mt Kenya National Park, & strategically sited right in
front of a watering hole & salt lick. Facilities at Treetops include a restaurant,
lounge & two bars. Leisure facilities include viewing
points from the lodge, game drives*, photographic hides, a

at Lake Naivasha, the beautiful green vegetation around the
Naivasha Simba Lodge along with the lake experience, makes it
an excellent rest stop while on safari in Kenya. Lake Naivasha
particularly is a birdwatchers fantasy. There are over 450 species
in the immediate area including the highland escarpments, which
surround the lake to the south and west. Situated right by Lake
Naivasha, a fresh water lake.
Facilities at the Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge
include a dining area serving a multi-ethnic combination of
European, African & Asian dishes, all made with fresh produce
& a bar. Leisure facilities include heated swimming pool,
tennis courts*, sauna*, gym*, massage*, boat rides on Lake Naivasha*,
boat ride to Crescent Island,* nature walks around the lake*.

include transfers and UK departure taxes. Departure
taxes for both Kenya and Tanzania have also been included
in the cost of MOST holidays. Zanzibar departure tax

UK passport holders require a Visa to enter both Kenya
and Tanzania - ask for the latest information. A valid
Yellow Fever certificate is also required for entry
to Tanzania.
