Wanaburee is a small, laid back resort where the facilities and villas are scattered amongst the trees and around a peaceful lagoon that trickles down to an idyllic beach, seemingly stretching as far as the eye can see.
Location: On Sunset Beach, one hours private transfer from Phuket airport and five minutes drive from Khao Lak village.
Facilities: The attractive pool overlooks the equally inviting beach and sea, where there’s always a quiet spot to relax in tranquillity. Snorkelling, hiking and excursions to scenic Phang Nga Bay can be arranged locally and the resort has a new spa offering Thai massages and treatments. The restaurant serves authentic Thai cuisine with an emphasis on fresh seafood.
Accommodation: 34 spacious rooms and villas furnished in simple Oriental style. Features include a telephone, television, minibar, coffee and tea making facilities and a terrace.
Estate rooms are located in the main two-storey villas. The following room categories are all available on request: Larger Manor and Seaview manor rooms are located within single-storey villas with garden or lagoon views. Rendezvous villas have a beach view, terracotta floors, hot tub and outdoor rain shower. Casuarina Suites are larger and have a daybed and Jacuzzi pool.
