Matemwe lies on a coral rock, surrounded by the best beaches, and is right opposite the Mnemba Atoll, which offers spectacular diving and snorkelling. Matemwe Retreat comprises three villas, just north of the main lodge. Each villa has a private butler. Villas have en suite bathroom with shower and large romantic bath overlooking the Indian Ocean. Each villa also features a plunge pool on the private roof terrace. All meals and drinks are delivered to the room, or to the beach in front of the Retreat. Drinks are included except cellar wines, premium brand Champagne and spirits. All of the facilities below are available to those staying at the Retreat.
