All the lodges on this safari circuit have undergone an extensive refurbishment programme offering some of the finest safari accommodation in Tanzania. Given that all these iconic lodges command some of the best locations in their respective game parks, this itinerary certainly offers an unrivalled safari experience.
Lake Manyara Hotel is located on the edge of the breathtaking escarpment of Lake Manyara National Park. All the rooms have magnificent views across the Lake. Seronera Wildlife Lodge, located in the heart of the Serengeti, is artfully constructed around a rocky outcrop, perfectly blending into the surroundings. Next to the lodge are several waterholes, attracting animals day and night. Final stop, the Ngorongoro, described as the '8th wonder of the natural world'. Your stay here is in the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge, perched on the rim of the crater. All the rooms offer breathtaking, uninterrupted views down into the crater floor.
This safari operates every fortnight.
Day 1: Monday - Depart
Kenya Airways overnight
flight from Heathrow via Nairobi
to Kilimanjaro.
Day 2: Tuesday - Lake Manyara
On arrival connect with your flight to Kilimanjaro. Met at Kilimanjaro International Airport and commence your safari. Drive to Lake Manyara National Park (150 kms), famous for its tree climbing lions. Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Manyara Wildlife Lodge. An afternoon game drive. Overnight: Lake Manyara Hotel. (lunch and dinner included).
Day 3: Wednesday - Serengeti
After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park (235 kms) and to the Seronera Wildlife Lodge. An afternoon game drive will reveal some of the highlights of this world-famous game reserve. Overnight: Seronera Wildlife Lodge. (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 4: Thursday - Serengeti
Take an early morning balloon flight over the Serengeti followed by a 'bubbly' breakfast (optional extra £295) or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the lodge. After lunch enjoy an afternoon game drive. Overnight: Seronera Wildlife Lodge. (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 5: Friday - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Crater (200 kms), stopping at Olduvai Gorge. Lunch at the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. Afternoon is at leisure. Overnight: Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 6: Saturday - Ngorongoro Crater
Descend into the crater for a half day of game viewing followed by a visit to a local Masai Village. Overnight: Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. (breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 7: Sunday - Beach or return
After breakfast return
to Arusha for lunch and fly Kenya
Airways overnight via Nairobi
to Heathrow. (breakfast included).
Notes
This itinerary operates in 4x4 safari vehicles with a maximum of 7
passengers, all guaranteed a window seat.
On occasion the itinerary may operate in a
different order, or different lodges used according to
availability and road conditions.

Pack a mixture of warm and light clothing
in soft bags, plus sunglasses,
camera and insect repellent.
