On arrival drive to Tarangire National Park (160 km), arriving

sparse vegetation, strewn with baobab and acacia trees, makes

far-reaching plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted

Serengeti
Enjoy an early morning balloon flight, followed by a ‘bubbly’
bush breakfast (optional extra), or an early morning game drive
followed by breakfast at the lodge. Free time at the lodge until

Ngorongoro
Early morning game drive. A brief visit to Olduvai Gorge which
is often referred to as ‘The Cradle of Mankind’

Drive down into the crater for a half-day of game viewing. Visit

Return to Arusha (200 km) and fly to Nairobi, then
