Monday - Depart
Fly from Heathrow on Kenya Airways overnight to Nairobi.

Tuesday - Nairobi
On arrival transfer to your hotel for a day at leisure.

Wednesday - Aberdares
Drive to the highlands of the Aberdare range (180 km) and the Aberdare Country Club. The lodge's own transport will take you to The Ark. Please limit your luggage to an overnight bag (the remainder can be stored at The Aberdare Country Club). Afternoon at leisure or game viewing from the lodge’s viewing platforms. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Thursday - Samburu
Depart for the Samburu National Reserve, stoppingen route to collect your remaining luggage at the Aberdare Country Club (225 km). An afternoon game drive. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Friday - Samburu
Early morning and late afternoon game drives. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Saturday - Mount Kenya
Drive to the slopes of Mount Kenya (170 km) arriving in time for lunch. The remainder of the day is free to relax. At Mount Kenya Safari Club the dress code is smart casual and no children are permitted in the dining area after 7pm. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Sunday - Masai Mara
Transfer for your light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara (approximately 1.5 hours). An afternoon game drive by 4-wheel drive vehicle (a window seat cannot be guaranteed, and this part of the safari cannot be in an exclusive vehicle). (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Monday - Masai Mara
An early morning balloon flight over the Mara, followed by a ‘bubbly’ bush breakfast (optional extra), or an early morning game drive followed by breakfast at the camp. Late afternoon game drive. (Breakfast, lunch and dinner included)

Tuesday - Nairobi
Light aircraft flight to Nairobi (approximately 1 hour), then transfer to the Ole-Sereni Hotel Nairobi for one night on a Bed & Breakfast basis.

Wednesday - Lamu
Transfer airport for your onward flight to Lamu. On arrival, transfer to your chosen beach hotel for your required duration. Prices below are based on the Kipungani Explorer for five nights on a Full Board basis - a full range of other hotels, and other durations, is also available.

Monday - Return
Transfer back to the airport for the return flight to Heathrow, travelling via Nairobi.

Day 12: Friday - Return
Transfer back to the airport for the return flight to Heathrow, travelling via Nairobi.

This itinerary operates with a maximum of 6 passengers, all guaranteed a window seat.
Flights are in light aircraft and the baggage allowance is strictly 15 kg per person. Where possible, additional luggage can be left at your hotel or at the Safari Lounge in Nairobi and retrieved after the safari.
On occasion the itinerary may operate in a different order, or different lodges used according to availability and road conditions.
Travel times vary on road conditions and game sightings.
Pack a mixture of warm and light clothing in soft bags, plus sunglasses, camera and insect repellent.
