Day 1 - Heathrow–Nairobi
Fly from Heathrow overnight to Nairobi.
Day 2 - Nairobi
On arrival transfer to your hotel for a day at leisure or
choose from a selection of optional excursions. Overnight:
Nairobi Serena Hotel.
Day 3 - Samburu
Fly to the Samburu National Reserve (approximately
1 hour 15 minutes) and transfer to your lodge for lunch.
Samburu Intrepids Club looks out over the riverbank
where herds of elephants, buffaloes and zebras come to
drink, together with the rarer species of reticulated giraffe,
beisa oryx and long-necked gerenuk antelope. A late
afternoon game drive. Overnight: Samburu Intrepids
(breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 4 - Samburu
Early morning and late afternoon game drives. Overnight:
Samburu Intrepids
(breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 5 - Lake Naivasha
Light aircraft flight to Wilson airport (approximately 1 hour)
to connect with the flight to Loldia airstrip (approximately
20 minutes). Transfer to the Great Rift Valley Lodge and
Golf Resort at Lake Naivasha for overnight
(breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 6 - Lake Naivasha
Half-day trip to Lake Nakuru National Park. Leisure activities
at the lodge include boating and fishing on Lake Naivasha,
tennis, a driving range and an 18-hole golf course (book
and pay locally). Overnight: Great Rift Valley Lodge
(breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 7 - Masai Mara
Boat trip on Lake Naivasha. After lunch transfer to the
airstrip for a light aircraft flight to the Masai Mara
(approximately 45 minutes). An afternoon game drive. Mara
Intrepids camp sits above a sweeping bend in the Talek
River. Overnight: Mara Intrepids
(breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 8 - Masai Mara
An early morning balloon flight, followed by a ‘bubbly’
bush breakfast (optional extra £275), or an early morning
game drive followed by breakfast at the camp. Late
afternoon game drive. Overnight: Mara Intrepids
(breakfast, lunch and dinner included).
Day 9 - Extension or Heathrow
Light aircraft flight to Nairobi (approximately 1 hour), then
proceed with your chosen extension or return to Heathrow
(breakfast included).
Option to fly from the Mara to Mombasa - from £290
When flying from the Masai Mara to Mombasa
entire luggage must be restricted to 15 kg as no luggage can be stored in Nairobi.

Where possible, additional
luggage can be left at the
Safari Lounge in Nairobi and retrieved after the safari.
Pack a mixture of warm and light clothing
in soft bags, plus sunglasses,
