TUESDAY - Depart from the UK for
your flight to Cairo. On arrival, you
will be met and transferred to the Sofitel Le Sphinx in Cairo for the next 3
nights. During your stay, you may
sightsee independently or pre-book
your excursions. Alternative hotels are also available.
FRIDAY - After breakfast, transfer to
Cairo airport for your flight to Aswan.
On arrival, you will be met and
transferred to your chosen Nile cruise
boat. Spend the rest of the day at
leisure exploring the sights of Aswan.
Overnight in Aswan.
SATURDAY - In the morning, visit the
High Dam and the Temple of Philae.
In the afternoon, sail to Kom Ombo
for a tour of the Temple of Sobek and
Haroeris, before continuing on to
Edfu. Overnight in Edfu.
SUNDAY - In the morning, visit the
Temple of Horus at Edfu before
sailing on to Esna, crossing the lock
and continuing on to Luxor in the
afternoon. Overnight in Luxor.
MONDAY - After breakfast, check out
of your cabin before visiting the
highlights of the West Bank, including
the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley
of the Kings, the Temple of Queen
Hatshepsut and the Colossi of
Memnon. In the early afternoon,
travel by road to Hurghada or El
Gouna, a journey of approximately 5
hours, spending the next 4 nights at
the hotel of your choice. Prices are based on the Dawar El Omda in El Gouna, with a range of alternative hotels available.
FRIDAY - After breakfast, transfer to
Hurghada airport for your return flight to the
UK (via Cairo).
* Please ask for details of the closure of Esna Lock. If you propose
to sail during this period, please check how your itinerary may
be affected with our Reservations Department, prior to booking.
It may be necessary to amend the itinerary due to prevailing local
