Opinion:
The Baron Palms is a new, deluxe hotel, boasting lush, tropical
gardens providing a tranquil setting. With its’ vast array
of facilities it provides an ideal holiday choice for adults and
children alike.
Location:
Situated next to its’ sister hotel, The Baron, with just an
80 metre walk through the Baron Boulevard to the Hotel’s 600
metre private sandy beach.
Rooms: 230 spacious, air-conditioned rooms, including
3 suites, each with private facilities, cable & satellite TV,
mini fridge, safe, telephone, hairdryer and 100% Egyptian cotton
linen & towels. All rooms offer a terrace or balcony with either
pool or garden view.
Cuisine: Main restaurant, Tiran, offering a variety of
daily changing international buffets with live cooking stations,
plus a speciality restaurant, open for dinner, serving authentic
Egyptian and Oriental cuisine and the Paradise pool restaurant,
providing snacks and light meals throughout the day. The Hotel also
features a selection of bars offering snacks and refreshments.
Entertainment: Multilingual animation team offering
daily, daytime activities. Evening shows at the Hotel’s open-air
theatre. Discotheque at the Now & Zen dance-bar and occasional
live music in the lobby bar.
Sport & Leisure: 2 swimming pools (1 heated
in winter) with several integrated Jacuzzis, waterfalls and cascades
plus a children’s pool, 2 tennis courts (pay locally for floodlighting),
beach volleyball, table tennis, billiards and darts. The Spa and
relaxation centre offers a gym, sauna, Moroccan bath, aerobics and
a wide choice of beauty therapies and massages (pay locally).The
Hotel also offers water sports including catamarans, banana boats,
canoes and pedal boats plus a diving centre.

(4-12 years) and playground. Baby-sitting service (subject to availability;

• 3 meals a day served buffet style in the main restaurant,
Tiran: Breakfast (06.30-10.30); Lunch (12.30-15.00); Dinner (18.30-22.00).
With prior reservation, guests may choose to have dinner at the
Egyptian à la carte restaurant (19.00- 23.00) or a candlelit
dinner at the Paradise pool restaurant (19.00-23.00).
• Late breakfast (10.30-12.00) and light meals & snacks
(12.00-17.00) available at the Paradise pool restaurant.
• Sandwiches (12.00-18.30) served on the beach.
• Afternoon tea & coffee with cakes and cookies (16.00-18.00)
served on the lobby terrace, La Veranda.
• Midnight snacks (23.30-00.30) available at the Khan El Khalili
café.
• A selection of local soft and alcoholic beverages are available
from the lobby bar (10.00-24.00), beach bar (10.00-18.30), pool
bar (10.00-23.00), disco bar (22.30-24.00) and the Khan El Khalili
café (19.00- 24.00).
• Sports activities including gym, pool aerobics, table tennis,
beach volleyball, tennis (during daylight hours) and water polo.
All beverages are ordered and served by the glass, one at a time
and are available free of charge until midnight. All meal locations
