Opinion: One of the newest additions to El Gouna’s marina basin, the Arabesque-style Mosaique hotel is quiet and intimate, with an enchanting central swimming pool, marina views and attentive, personal service.
Location:In the Abu Tig Marina North Basin, El Gouna, approx. ten minutes walk from the beach and 30 minutes from Hurghada airport.
Rooms: 69 light and airy modern rooms with Moroccan-style artwork. Each room has air-conditioning, minibar, flat-screen television and balcony. Standard rooms are as above and overlook the swimming pool. Marina rooms have stunning views over the marina. Family rooms are available on request.
Cuisine: A mosaique-tiled lobby bar with an oriental water pond provides a lovely spot for an evening drink, and there is also a poolside bar and main restaurant. There are a variety of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Sport & Leisure: A pretty heated swimming pool forms the focal point of this beautifully designed hotel, with surrounding sun loungers. Excursions can be arranged on request (extra cost), from diving trips to desert safaris, and watersports, golf and horse-riding are available nearby.
