Opinion One of Eilat’s most renowned hotels,
the Isrotel King Solomon is amongst the Resort’s best properties
for families with children.The Hotel has a fabulous reputation for
extensive facilities, organized entertainment and a lively atmosphere
for a family holiday.
Location:
Overlooking the Lagoon, just a few minutes walk from the beach.
Rooms: 420 air-conditioned rooms (most have been
renovated) including Standard, Family and Kings rooms plus Garden
Terrace suites, all with private facilities, balcony,TV, radio,
telephone, mini bar, tea & coffee facilities, hairdryer and
a safe. Standard rooms can accommodate up to two adults and one
child. Standard pool view rooms are available at a supplement. Family
rooms offer an additional area for sleeping up to two children.
Kings rooms are located on floors 10-12 and guests enjoy the benefits
of the Kings floor private lounge (newly refurbished) offering snacks
and drinks (minimum entry age 16), a sun terrace with spectacular
views and additional treats in rooms. Garden Terrace suites have
a large terrace with Jacuzzi and sun beds, and a smaller second
bedroom and comfortably accommodate up to four guests.
Entertainment: Daily poolside aerobics and outdoor
entertainment. Live evening shows by the Hotel’s own entertainment
group, plus the Platinum nightclub and disco. The Yacht Bar, with
its renovations and change in concept provides a quiet, intimate,
Irish style bar and a cinema is located in the Isrotel Riviera Club
opposite (subject to availability).
Cuisine: The King’s Table main dining room
serving buffet-style, freshly prepared international cuisine. The
Brasserie restaurant for delightful French cuisine, the Burger Ranch
fast food outlet serving a range of burgers, French fries and soft
drinks for lunch, a poolside snack bar for light meals, salads,
sandwiches, ice cream and soft drinks, and the lobby serving salads,
sandwiches, cakes and beverages.
Sport & Leisure: 2 freshwater swimming pools
(1 heated in winter), splash pool with 50 metre long water slide
for children (seasonal),multi purpose court for ball games and table
tennis. Isrotel Spa (minimum age 16) with Jacuzzi, massage rooms
and sauna (pay locally for entrance and treatments) and a well equipped
gymnasium (pay locally). Access to the lagoon for boating and other
activities.
Special Facilities: Kid’s Kingdom (minimum
