Opinion The Agamim, meaning ‘lakes’, spreads out across spacious grounds, centring around a magnificent swimming pool and boasting a fresh, modern interior and exterior design in which natural materials reflect the colour and texture of the local landscape.

Location In a quiet area of Eilat’s North Beach, a short distance from the other Isrotel hotels and the Resort’s promenades and beaches.

Rooms 288 attractively furnished air-conditioned rooms, all with private facilities, satellite TV, telephone and safe. Rooms include a double bed and sofa bed. Ground floor Deck rooms feature a private wooden terrace sunbathing deck with direct access to the swimming pool, while all other rooms feature a balcony with garden furniture. Family rooms consist of one bedroom (same as a regular room) and a living room with an interconnecting door between the two rooms and two bathrooms. Rooms accommodate up to two adults and one child up to 6 years of age, with Family rooms taking an additional child.

Cuisine Briza, the main dining room for buffet style meals, with breakfast served until midday and dinner featuring five cooking and preparation stations, each offering a different cuisine. Guests can choose from Chinese, Italian, grill & deep fryer, cold cuts and fried platters. In addition, the Pool restaurant, located on the water’s edge, features Thai-style stir fry, grilled meats and light dishes. The lobby dairy restaurant, Macchiato Bar, provides sandwiches, salads, hot beverages, soft drinks, juices and ice cream.

Sport & Leisure The Hotel’s main feature is the one-of-a-kind swimming pool (heated in winter) lying literally at the centre of the property, and includes waterfalls, fountains and bridges. Its three ‘streams’ run along the Hotel’s guest wings, allowing guests staying in deck rooms to enter the water from their terrace and swim into the central pool. There is also a children’s pool, a well equipped fitness room (pay locally, minimum age 16) and wet & dry sauna, plus a spa (minimum age 16), specialising in unique health treatments.
