the age of 10 years, children can participate in the PADI Junior
Open Water Diver Course and become certified divers. The course
follows the same format as the Adult Open Water Diver course. Junior
Open Water Divers must dive with a buddy at least 18 years of age,
for 10 - 12 year olds this must be a parent/guardian or PADI professional
and maximum depth is 12 metres. |
