Location Kuramathi Village is one of three resorts located on
Kuramathi Island in the Rashdoo atoll about 1½ hours
by speedboat (or 20 minutes by Maldivian Air Taxi
seaplane at a supplement of just £60 per person return)
due west of Male’ airport. Kuramathi is one of the larger
Maldivian islands and has three separate resorts.
Facilities •Table d'hôte restaurant, À la carte island coffee shop (extra charge), bar with regular evening entertainment, including
a live band or disco. Sports facilities include table tennis, windsurfing (for
qualified windsurfers only), snorkelling, catamaran

Accommodation 151 comfortably furnished rooms. Standard rooms are simply furnished with shower,
airconditioning, telephone, minifridge and terrace
just steps from the water’s edge. Standard bungalow rooms are as Standard
rooms plus bath, superior furnishings and slightly
larger in individual wooden bungalows. Coconut Village Superior rooms are individual
newer wooden bungalows, locally called the Coconut
Village, with facilities as above, plus superior
furnishings, four-poster beds and exotic open-air
