Location This unique new resort, the first in Addu, the southern
most atoll in the Maldives opened December 2007.
Herathera means 'Hideaway' and the unspoilt natural
beauty of this idyllic island offers a stunning blue lagoon
with the longest stretches of coral reef and white sandy
beaches on one side of the island, while on the other
side of the island, a narrow coral beach faces the
ocean. Located 15 minutes speedboat ride from Gan
airport, just south of the equator, about a 70 minute
local flight by Island Aviation from Male’ airport.

Accommodation All 273 rooms are individual wooden bungalows on the
beach with a beautiful view of either the lagoon or the
ocean and have one kingsize bed, airconditioning,
ceiling fan, minibar, telephone, television CD/DVD
player, sitting area, tea and coffee making facilities and
partially open-air bathroom with shower. Villas have a private, walled-in sandy
courtyard and terrace facing the ocean. Beach villas are as above on the lagoon side of
the island with direct access to the beach. (The view
from some rooms may be restricted by vegetation). Jacuzzi beach villas enjoy facilities as above, are
more spacious and have a jacuzzi with wooden deck.
