Location A unique eco friendly desert resort located about 45
minutes drive from Dubai airport and city in a remote
desert location close to the Hajar Mountains. Emirates
Al Maha Desert Resort & Spa is located amidst 225
square kilometres of the Dubai Desert Conservation
Reserve.
Facilities Built in the style of a bedouin encampment, the resort
has one dining room and bar plus a library and Majlis
lounge. All meals may be taken in the dining rooms or
you may experience a traditional bedouin dune dinner
during your stay. Leisure facilities include a swimming
pool and archery. Also included free of charge are
camel or horse trekking, guided safaris by four wheel
drive vehicles within the Dubai Desert Conservation
Reserve offering the chance to discover the unique
wildlife of this region including oryx, gazelle, camels
and falcons. Guests will receive a programme of daily
activities of which two may be taken per person per
day. There is a beautiful swimming pool, a fitness
centre and massage, beauty and spa facilities
including sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.
Accommodation The resort has 37 stand alone spacious Bedouin suites
as well as two Royal suites, all designed in the
style of a luxurious Bedouin tent but with all the
creature comforts of a deluxe hotel. Each suite is
airconditioned and luxuriously furnished with minibar,
phone, bath and shower plus a private terrace with a
large, temperature controlled private pool and
panoramic views of the desert landscape. |
