PRIVATE CAR & DRIVER HOLIDAY
With this option you'll have a private car and driver from day 2 when you land at the airport, to day 7 when you arrive at your beach hotel. You can take in and sights that you wish at your own pace - all you need to do is pay entrance fees locally. There’s no mileage limitation and our driver will discuss your itinerary to create the perfect trip!

DAY 1 - DEPART
Fly from Heathrow to Colombo, arriving the next day. Other departure points including Gatwick, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle and Glasgow are also available.

DAY 2 - HABARANA
Met on arrival at Colombo airport and transfer approximately four hours to Habarana. Check in to your hotel, the Chaaya Village Habarana, for three nights to explore the ancient cities. Stay here on a Half Board basis, with other hotels and durations available.

The Chaaya Village Habarana is a delightful base from which to explore Sri Lankas cultural triangle, within easy reach of Sigiriya and Dambulla. Set in beautifully tended gardens, the facilities are in the style of a Sri Lankan village. Enjoy a blissful massage at the Ayurveda centre or get active with tennis, badminton, jogging and cycling. Discover nature with elephant safaris and birdwatching, or just relax in the swimming pool. Later, unwind in the airy lobby and bar before enjoying dinner at the open-air restaurant and evening entertainment. Other facilities include jeep safaris, trekking and kayaking, and you can also pre-book experience packages to ancient cities. Visit Black Water Pool, learn to cast nets with village fishermen, take a bullock cart ride to a banana plantation, visit a local paddy field and hike to a mountain, ancient ruins or a monastery in the jungle.

DAY 5 - BEACH
Travel onwards to the beach, and the friendly Club Bentota, for a seven night stay on an All Inclusive basis. There’s a range of alternative hotels available if this isn't ideal, and most durations are possible,

DAY 12 - RETURN
Transfer to Colombo airport for your return flight to the UK.
