A must for those in search of a unique holiday experience.
This tropical forest is home to exotic flora and fauna. Entering the
park itself is a magical experience comprising a 2 hour longboat ride
into the interior and during your stay, you can opt for guided walks,
jungle safaris and overnight stays at one of its five animal hides.
Day 1 KL/Taman Negara National Park: At leisure on arrival before
you an enjoy a guided night walk in the forest
Day 2 Taman Negara: Take a 1 hour 30 minute trek up Bukit Terisek
to enjoy the panoramic view of Gunung Tahan, which at 7,786ft is
Peninsular Malaysia's highest peak. Time at leisure for swimming at
Lubok Simpun river pool or further exploration of this unique
environment. Optional overnight at Belau Observation Hide to
hopefully glimpse the nocturnal animals drinking at the water hole.
Day 3 Taman Negara: An exhilarating day as you shoot the rapids
by boat to Lata Berkoh (outside Monsoon period only) followed by
a visit to Ear Cave and then enjoy time for swimming.
Day 4 Taman Negara/KL: Last chance to admire this stunning
rainforest before returning to the bright lights of KL.
Note: A visit to Taman Negara is not recommended for the less mobile or
during the monsoon season, 15 November-15 January. Some
height and weight restrictions apply when visiting the Ear Cave.
