Welcome This wonderful retreat lies one hour’s drive west of Havana and nestles in the foothills of the Sierra del Rosario Ecological Reserve, the largest UNESCO protected area in the Caribbean. The hotel is a very comfortable property built in sympathy with its environment, indeed one large tree rises straight through the atrium lobby and out through the skylight! The surrounding area forms the natural habitat of one of the greatest concentrations of endemic wildlife and vegetation on the island, including the tocororo, Cuba’s national bird.
