established in the 18th century by Richard O’Farrill, a wealthy
merchant from Ireland whose descendants held important public positions
during Cuba’s subsequent colonial period. Awarded a Class
1 Heritage Degree, the property has been lovingly refurbished floor
by floor to reflect all the architectural changes made from the
18th to the 20th century.
