| DAY
1 Depart Hanoi this morning and travel 110 miles east to
the shores of the South China Sea and the World Heritage Site of
Halong Bay. En route pass through charming villages and picturesque
countryside. Arrive in Halong mid morning and board your traditional
Chinese Junk for your overnight cruise on this dramatically scenic
coastline. Listed as a World Heritage Site for its unusual picturesque
and unique rock formations, Halong Bay remains a place of many legends.
Said to be created by a slayed dragon descending to the sea the
many limestone karsts and islands remain as Vietnam’s best
scenery. On your cruise of Halong Bay you will see caves and grottoes
such as the Thieng Cung and Dau Go, enjoy a sumptuous seafood lunch
sailing by many islands such as Dog and Ga Choi Island. Your visit
to Titov beach will provide an opportunity to swim in these emerald
waters (summer months only). This evening enjoy dinner on board
as the sun sets over the bay. Spend the evening sampling Vietnamese
wine or to try your hand at fishing. Enjoy your evening and overnight
onboard.
DAY 2 Enjoy
breakfast on deck as the mist rises over the water and continue
your cruise this morning to visit Mans Head and Tortoise Island.
Visit a Luon cave and explore this cavern by small bamboo boat.
Discover also Bai Tu Lang Bay and Toad Island before returning to
Halong. Enjoy lunch on board before departing back to Hanoi arriving
late afternoon.
