A lovely personable
boutique hotel with lots of character, beautifully crafted in
local wood with a meticulous attention to fine detail apparent
throughout.
LOCATION: With
an enviable central location in Luang Prabang, the Three Nagas
is the ideal choice for guests wanting stylish simple comforts
at the heart of this laid back UNESCO World Heritage listed town.
FACILITIES: Facilities are traditional rather
than modern. Delicious dining centres on the Three Nagas restaurant,
where the breakfast croissants and freshly squeezed juices are
highly recommended. The hotel boutique supports the work of the
local craftsmen and artists, encouraging them to access new markets
and raise their families living standards. Enjoy browsing the
boutique, perhaps contributing to the local economy with a purchase
or two of bags of colourful spices, hand embroidery and ornate
wood carvings.
ACCOMMODATION: Accommodation is split between two traditional
houses. The Khamboua House was built in 1903 using exotic woods
for the structure and flooring with traditional ‘torchis’
walls, lime creed onto a bamboo structure. Here in the heart of
Luang Prabang eight rooms offer access to the river garden. The
Lamache House was built in 1898 of May Pow wood, historically
used in the construction of boats. It has recently been renovated
to provide a warm atmosphere inspired by tradition. House allocation
is subject to availability. All rooms are individually designed,
using exotic woods, silk and traditional weavings. Each includes
airconditioning, television, telephone, minibar, tea and coffee
making facilities and bath with shower and balcony or terrace.
