DAY
1
Overnight British Airways flight from Heathrow to Beijing. On arrival
you will be met and transferred to the first class Novotel Peace
for three nights. There is plenty to see in the country’s
capital and we recommend that you prebook one of our experiences.
In addition to our Beijing City and Great Wall of China experiences,
why not try something a little different with a Rickshaw Tour of
the Hutong District. From the comfort of your two-seater rickshaw,
take a fun and informative tour to discover the traditional narrow
lanes and shops of a bygone era, albeit just minutes away from central
Beijing. In the evening treat yourself to a visit to the Peking
Opera or enjoy a Peking Duck Dinner.
DAY 5
This morning, transfer to the airport for your China Eastern Airlines
flight to Xi’an, with two nights at the first class Grand
Mercure. Xi’an is foremost recognised as home to one of the
most famous wonders of Chinese civilisation, the awe-inspiring Terracotta
Warriors. This historic city delights with unmissable attractions,
magnificent museums and a vibrant Muslim Quarter, all included in
our prebookable experiences.
DAY 8
Lunchtime Dragonair flight to Hong Kong. Transfer to the first class
Excelsior for a three night stay. Perhaps take a Hong Kong Island
Tour which lifts you high above the island to Victoria Peak, past
picturesque Repulse Bay and the floating community of Aberdeen fishing
village. There is time to shop at Stanley Market before you return
to your hotel early afternoon.
DAY 11
Morning Cathay Pacific flight to Heathrow arriving later the same
