DAY
1
Overnight Air China flight from Heathrow to Beijing. On arrival
you will be met and transferred to the first class Novotel Peace
for three nights. Enjoy time to explore this imperial city. To make
the most of your stay we recommend that you prebook one of our experiences.
Our Beijing City Tour visits Tian’anmen Square where you will
learn its history and significance in events that have shaped China’s
destiny over the centuries, then make the short journey to the enchanted
Forbidden City, so called as it was off limits to all but the Emperors
of the Ming and Qing Dynasties for over 500 years. After lunch journey
to the Summer Palace, followed by the stunning Temple of Heaven,
China’s largest temple and altar complex and revered as the
most perfect example of Ming architecture. Consider also our full
day tour to the Great Wall of China, an experience not to be missed.
DAY 5
Transfer mid afternoon for your Air China flight to Xi’an.
Upon arrival transfer for two nights at the first class Grand Mercure.
Perhaps enjoy a prebookable traditional Tang Dynasty show with dinner
this evening. The following day we recommend our Terracotta Warriors
and Xi’an City Tour for a full day of exceptional sightseeing.
The day commences with a visit to the worldrenowned Terracotta Warriors.
After lunch, visit the imposing Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Muslim
Quarter with its Great Mosque and maze of alleyways.
DAY 7
Morning at leisure in Xi’an before your afternoon Air China
flight back to Beijing and a final overnight at your hotel.
DAY 8
Transfer to the airport for the afternoon Air China flight to Heathrow
