| Renowned as one of the best game viewing destinations in all of Africa, Mala Mala has
probably the best location in the Sabi Sands reserve, sharing a 12 mile open border with
the Kruger Park and served by direct flights from Johannesburg to the camp’s own airstrip.
Developed over a 40 year period of sound conservation, the 50 square mile reserve is the
largest in the Sabi Sands, with one of the highest densities of big game in the region and
has been home to numerous wildlife documentaries. Game drives and walking safaris
under expert tutelage are offered from each of the three camps, which offer differing
character and charm.
Rattray's on Mala Mala
A true luxury safari experience. Eight sumptuous suites overlook the river and feature a
private plunge pool, outdoor shower and even golf carts to drive back to your room in after
a delicious dinner in the boma. Game drives here also benefit from a maximum of four
guests per vehicle.
