| Situated in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve on a prime site bordering the Sabie river, Lion
Sands comprises of two superb lodges each with their own distinct character and offering
a truly luxurious safari experience in one the most game rich areas of Africa. Easily
accessed by scheduled flights to the neighbouring Mala Mala airstrip or the main Kruger
airport, it is ideal for a three or four night fly-in safari using the knowledge and experience
of the resident rangers on the game drives and bush walks that are included.
River Lodge
The main River Lodge faces east, catching the morning sun rising over the Kruger National
Park, and is home to two swimming pools, lounge/bar area, wooden viewing decks, health
spa and open-air Boma dining area. All the luxurious thatched rooms feature airconditioning,
en suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor shower, minibar and viewing deck.
