| This
six-night tour starts and ends in Windhoek and operates with a maximum
of eight passengers. It can be enjoyed as a 'stand alone' holiday
and also combines well with neighbouring South Africa, as free onward
flights to Cape Town or Johannesburg are offered. Please note that
you will only be permitted one soft bag with a strict weight limit
of 10kg. Luggage can be stored in Windhoek.
DAY 1 MONDAY – FISH RIVER CANYON
Take the light aircraft for the 90 minute flight over mountains
& desert, south to Fish River Canyon. This afternoon explore
this magnificent canyon. Overnight: Cañon Lodge, Fish River
Canyon.
DAY 2 TUESDAY – SOSSUSVLEI
A scenic flight will take you over the canyon and the fascinating
landscape of the southern Namib Desert and Sossusvlei. Overnight:
Sossusvlei Lodge.
DAY 3 WEDNESDAY – SWAKOPMUND
This morning you will enjoy an exciting excursion into the living
desert of Sossusvlei, before taking a short flight over the dunes
towards the Atlantic Ocean and the resort town of Swakopmund. Overnight:
Hansa Hotel, Swakopmund.
DAY 4 THURSDAY – DAMARALAND
After breakfast a short road transfer will take you to Walvis Bay
where you will embark on a marine cruise which, if you are lucky,
may include dolphin sightings. After your cruise you will take a
flight over the famous Skeleton Coast, the seal colony of Cape Cross
for Twyfelfontein. Overnight: Twyfelfontein Lodge, Twyfelfontein.
DAY 5 FRIDAY – ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
After a morning tour of the slopes of Twyfelfontein and its many
boulders, paintings and ancient engravings you will take a short
flight to Namibia's best game viewing area – Etosha National
Park. Overnight: Eagle Tented Lodge, Etosha.
DAY 6 SATURDAY – ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK
Today you will have a full day to enjoy Etosha, two game drives
are included. Overnight: Eagle Tented Lodge, Etosha.
DAY 7 SUNDAY – WINDHOEK
After a leisurely breakfast you will board your light aircraft and
return to Windhoek, arriving around 11.30am.
